The Kabaddi World Cup (Standard Style) is the most common style of Kabaddi which is followed around the world, The standard style format is played on a rectangular court indoors.

A setback for the game is that tournaments weren’t held for women until 2016 when they participated in their first-ever World Cup. a total of 16 teams participated in the tournament and again India emerged victorious over Iran in the finals.

The circular style of Kabaddi is adopted by Punjab, and courtesy to Punjab administration, in 2010 they launched their Circular style of Kabaddi World Cup.
